FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Are you looking for quick answers to the most important questions about our products, delivery times, shipping and packaging costs? Then you've come to the right place.

Do you have a question about shipping?

  • I would like to pick up the items from you.

We are happy to offer you the option of picking up the items directly from our factory. Please contact us to arrange this.

Important to know! Our presses are preferably transported upright. With a total height of approximately 2.4m, they exceed the maximum loading height of most short-range trucks.

  • I would like the items delivered.

We will organize the delivery for you. As soon as your items are ready for shipment, they will be loaded – including suitable transport packaging – onto the trucks of the contracted logistics provider.

Important to know! Your only responsibility is unloading and loading. Access for a 40-ton truck must be available.

  • Why is the shipment being sent without operating supplies?

The hydraulic oil tank of our workshop presses is empty when delivered.

Important information! Legislation requires transport without operating fluids. We offer suitable hydraulic oil in our accessories section. It will be transported in separate containers.

Do you have a question about availability and delivery time?

  • Are my selected items available immediately?

Depending on availability, the delivery time of the items may vary. Availability and the exact delivery time will be confirmed by our staff after you place your order.

Good to know! You can inquire about availability and delivery time in advance by email or phone.

  • When will I receive my items?

The stated delivery time begins after receipt of the order and completion of technical/commercial clarification. Items in stock are generally delivered within 5-8 working days within Germany (delivery times may vary for international orders).

Important to know! With the payment term "prepayment", the goods will only be picked after full payment has been received.

Do you have a question about packaging and shipping costs?

  • Do workshop presses even need to be packaged?

Our workshop presses are very robustly built. Nevertheless, we must ensure that all attachments, such as cables, hoses, and electronics, are not damaged during transport.

Good to know! We always try to minimize packaging. And we strive to replace the packaging materials we use with available, environmentally friendly alternatives.

  • What costs should I expect?

Due to the large number of product variants, their diverse sizes and features, different packaging fees result.

Shipping costs cannot be calculated as a flat rate. They are calculated by the contracted logistics provider based on weight and delivery address.

Good to know! As soon as we send you a written offer, both the packaging and shipping costs will be specified exactly.

  • Is it possible to negotiate the shipping costs?

The individually calculated shipping costs correspond to our cost price.

Important to know! Our hydraulic presses have a special height. Therefore, the costs are higher than for standard pallet transport.

Do you have a question about the article?

  • What are the dimensions of my press?

The technical data for each model variant is stored for every item in the shop.

Good to know! If you are unable to view our online overview, we would be happy to send you a product flyer. Please contact us for this.

  • Are there any other presses?

You can find our complete standard range in our shop.

Good to know! We are mechanical engineers who can also fulfill your requests beyond the standard. Please contact us for more information.

  • What items are included in the delivery?

The scope of delivery is listed for each shop item and usually refers to the individual item.

Good to know! To give you the most realistic impression of each item, the images usually show a combination of the product with optional accessories. Optional accessories are NOT part of the displayed offer and are therefore NOT included in the delivery.

  • How do I find the right accessories?

In the "You might also like" section, suitable accessories and spare parts are already suggested, or you can simply browse our extensive range of accessories.

Good to know! Are you looking for special accessories? - We are mechanical engineers who can also fulfill your requests beyond the standard. Please contact us for more information.

  • Can I choose a color?

Our presses are produced in our standardized house color, gentian blue.

We also offer optional custom designs to try and fulfill unusual color requests. Please contact us for more information.

Good to know! We try our best to display the items in the correct color. However, slight color variations may occur. This is due to differences in lighting and computer monitor settings.

Do you have a question about the operation of the press?

  • Are there rules for initial commissioning?

The system may only be commissioned by qualified personnel. This commissioning must be documented and archived for 10 years from the date of commissioning. If there is any uncertainty, the manufacturer must be contacted and commissioning is not permitted.

Good to know! Initial setup by our installation service is available as an option. Please contact us for more information.

  • What do I need to consider during commissioning?

The press and all attachments - especially safety devices - must be checked for completeness and damage before operation.

The engine must not be started until all operating fluids have been added! Running the system components dry must be avoided.

  • How does the filling with operating fluids work?

The press should only be filled with the necessary operating fluids at its destination. Hydraulic oil conforming to DIN 51524, Part 2, must be filled into the hydraulic press's reservoir tank.

Good to know! Do not use biological hydraulic oils! These will damage the fittings, cylinders, and lines.

The fill quantity depends on the installed reservoir tank and the size of the unit. However, the required amount of hydraulic oil is always calculated according to the following rule:

With the cylinder fully retracted, the reservoir tank should be filled to the middle level indicated by the oil level gauge installed in the reservoir tank.

Good to know! Since air can be present in the lines and cylinder after transport or if the oil level is low, the oil level must be checked again after 2, 5, and 20 minutes, as well as after 5 hours of operation. The amount of hydraulic oil must be adjusted if necessary. During operation, the cylinder must be moved up and down several times. In addition, the full stroke must be performed at least three times in one go during the first 20 minutes.

  • Do I still have tasks to perform after commissioning?

To ensure the proper care and safety of the machine, regular maintenance must be carried out by qualified personnel.

Good to know! You can find the relevant care and maintenance tips as well as your documentation and retention periods here in our operating instructions.

Do you have a question about the print settings?

  • Can I change the pressure of my hydraulic press?

Warning! The maximum pressure must not be exceeded!

The operating limits of the system must be observed and the operating instructions followed!

First, extend the lifting cylinder to its full stop. To adjust the pressure, remove the protective cap and loosen the nut slightly. The pressure can then be adjusted using the adjusting screw. Set the desired pressure with the lever depressed (lifting cylinder at its full stop). Afterwards, don't forget to tighten the nut again and replace the protective cap.
